Home Telecom HomeMate system requires a 36-month monitoring agreement. Purchase of additional equipment may be necessary. Purchase of a HomeMate Equipment Pack will be necessary for customers without an existing security system. Additional monthly fees may apply for back-up monitoring. Early termination fee of $250 applies. Home Telecom HomeMate not compatible with all security systems. Additional restrictions may apply.

Q: Are HomeMate Alert Pendants waterproof/water resistant?
A: We offer both a waterproof and a water resistant HomeMate Alert Pendant.
Q: When emergency personnel arrive at the residence, what happens if the door is locked?
A: Once dispatch has made the call for 911 to respond we are no longer held liable. The emergency personnel in most cases will break the door to enter into the residence.
Q: How long does the button have to be pressed on the pendant?
A: The button on the pendant must be pressed for 2 full seconds.
