MONCKS CORNER, SC December 6, 2021 – Home Telecom was honored with the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award at the 2021 Honors Awards Friday night.

Presented during the Chamber’s “Member-Bration” event at their new headquarters in Park Circle, it was an opportunity for the Chamber to applaud the business community as the “Greatest Community on Earth”.

“Being recognized for an Honors award is a powerful testament to a business’s brand and impact on the region, as nominations are made by Chamber members,” said Bryan Derreberry, President and CEO of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. “This year’s award recipients join an impressive group of businesses, each making an impact in our region.”

Home Telecom joined a half dozen local businesses honored Friday evening in a variety of categories; all for their local achievements and exemplary leadership in supporting the region’s economic development and quality of life.

The Business of the Year recognition honors Home Telecom for more than 117 years of demonstrable success and long-standing excellence, showcasing their deep dedication to advancing the business community and Charleston region.
