Building for the Future
For the past several years, we have been making amazing strides in the expansion of our Fiber network. A big part of that is not only our capital investment into delivering Fiber-ready services to rural areas, but also capitalizing on available funding through limited time state, federal, and county grant applications.
To date, Home Telecom has been awarded 8 grants totaling almost $33 million dollars and have invested more than $27.3 million dollars alongside these grants to provide fiber to areas that have little to no internet access in our rural communities.
That is a total investment of about $60 Million toward providing Fiber Internet to our rural neighbors!
