Mark Your Calendars for These Upcoming Home Telecom Sponsored EventsHome Telecom is proud to be a part of the greater Charleston, South Carolina community. We strive to give back to our local communities, and this year we have some exciting, fun-filled Home Telecom sponsored events.

2nd Annual Valentine Making Party

Join us at the 2nd Annual Valentine Making Party. This free community activity is a Home Telecom sponsored event hosted by Stroll Daniel Island Magazine. The community is invited to gather at Pierce Park Pavillion to celebrate this love-filled holiday and make Valentine’s Day cards for friends and family. As a free community event, we provide all supplies! Additionally, if you have time, we would love a few extra Valentine’s Day cards for Wellmore and Summit Place residents, as we hope to make their day a little more special. February 11, 2023, Pierce Park Pavillion 1-3 PM

OneBerkeley United Games

Join us for the second annual OneBerkeley United Games. These games strive to bring students together and feature a variety of field day events for the local school district’s students with special needs, their friends from general education classes, their teachers and for parents. The games include entertainment and music, and this event allows children to connect while also improving their team-building skills. March 23, 2023, Moncks Corner Recreation Complex

Run Cane Bay Event

Run Cane Bay is another Home Telecom sponsored event that is community-oriented. The Run Cane Bay event features 5k, 10k relays and a half marathon run. The 13.1 half-mile marathon begins at the Cane Bay Family YMCA and winds along the Cane Bay Plantation Trails, ultimately ending at the YMCA. The half marathon event also features a two-person and four-person relay. The two-person relay is approximately 7.5 and 5.6 miles, and the four-person event is currently pending certification, but we anticipate all legs will be between two and four miles each. After the races, join us in a celebration that will include offerings from a local brewery, food trucks and vendors. Cash awards will be given to the first and second place male and female, as well as masters and grandmasters in the 5k, 10k and half marathon, as well as age group prizes. Registration is open, so be sure to sign up now! March 25, 2023, Cane Bay Family YMCA

Flowertown Festival

Join us and experience the Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival! 2023 is the 50th anniversary of this community-driven event. Started in 1973, the fundraiser helps to support health and wellness programs at the YMCA. Attracting thousands of visitors annually, people can take in the purple wisteria, hot pink azaleas and white dogwoods, which make breathtaking backdrops for photos. This event also features one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the entire Southeast region. Admission and parking are free. The event will feature more than 200 selected artists from throughout the country, food vendors, fun activities, rides for children, food trucks and a farmer’s market.
